Today we are happy to present YOOtheme Pro 2.3. It comes with great new features and many usability improvements. We added a new custom file source so content can now be loaded from the file system. You can also download and upload layouts, styles and element presets from your libraries and limit the template assignment by page number. Watch the dedicated video presenting you all the new features in detail.
Today, all our 33 theme packages for YOOtheme Pro received a huge update which we’ve been working on the last months. We completely reworked and optimized all theme packages so they make use of dynamic content and all the latest features of YOOtheme Pro. All blog and post pages are now templated with the page builder, so there are over 60 new layouts in the layout library. In addition, all existing 260+ page and footer layouts are reworked using the latest layout options and much more. Some theme packages even got a completely new content structure with custom fields and templates for their category and post pages. So now you have tons of new layouts for your dynamic websites. Let’s take a look.
Today’s YOOtheme Pro 2.2 release focuses on improving existing features and refining them with new options. The biggest change comes to the architecture behind loading dynamic content. We refactored the GraphQL schema configuration and added documentation allowing 3rd party developers to extend YOOtheme Pro with custom sources. There are also more filter and ordering options and more. Let’s walk through all the improvements.
Today we are excited to introduce YOOtheme Pro 2.1. This time it’s a huge release with tons of new features for all parts of YOOtheme Pro. We added dynamic conditions to display elements depending on a field’s content, made column layouts customizable and improved the integration into the WordPress eco-system by supporting Toolset and WordPress Popular Posts, just to name a few. There are also a lot of other improvements many of you requested.
Today we are thrilled to announce the release of YOOtheme Pro 2.0! It comes with the game-changing features many of you have been waiting for: dynamic content and the template builder. They allow you to load dynamic content into your layouts and create site-wide templates for categories and posts using the YOOtheme Pro builder. This changes the scope of YOOtheme Pro fundamentally. Now you can use the power of the YOOtheme Pro builder to create complex dynamic websites. Let’s get started!

We have been a bit quiet lately, but today we are excited to announce YOOtheme Pro 2.0! We have been working on it over the last 10 months, and finally we are on the home stretch to bring you its most anticipated features: dynamic content and the template builder.
Today we are happy to present UIkit 3.2. It comes with some small but very useful features like the column and row gap for the Grid component and additional font weight utility classes for the Text component. There’s also some news about UIkit 4. Let’s take a look.
Today we are excited to introduce UIkit 3.1. It’s the first feature release since UIkit 3 became stable and comes with two new features – SVG stroke animations and an updated Heading component. We also put some thoughts into how the upcoming releases will reflect the transition from UIkit 3 to UIkit 4.
Since UIkit 3 is feature complete, our current focus is on refactoring and improving existing components. Unfortunately, this includes changing existing HTML classes. To make the transition as smooth as possible we introduced a deprecated variable.
By default, the deprecated variable is set to false, so all deprecated classes are not included in the CSS. If you want to update your markup later and use the deprecated classes along the new ones, set the variable to true in your custom UIkit theme. This makes it possible to add new classes without removing the old ones right away. The CSS file size will slightly increase, but it will also guarantee that nothing breaks, and you can update the markup in your own pace.
@deprecated: true;
The first component we refactored is the Heading component. In the past it only had two size modifiers, now there are five: Small, Medium, Large, Xlarge and 2Xlarge. The old Primary and Hero classes are deprecated. To update your markup, just replace the following classes.
| Deprecated | New |
|---|---|
uk-heading-primary | uk-heading-medium |
uk-heading-hero | uk-heading-xlarge |
We added an option to animate SVG strokes to the Animation and the Parallax components. The stroke animation looks like the SVG is being drawn before your very eyes.
The SVG image has to be injected into the markup as an inline SVG. For the Animation component, simply add uk-svg="animation-stroke: true to the image element. The stroke length will be automatically calculated. If you animate strokes in the Parallax component, you can use the percent unit e.g.100% without knowing the exact length of the stroke.
